A much overdue update (of sorts)

by Rick Black on October 21, 2011

It has been quite some time since we have posted any information about the goings on of the band on the site.  Actually, the last post was sometime in August, so I thought it was about time to jump on and add some details to what is going on in the world of “The Order of the Mountain.”

We have played a few shows over the last month and our live set of original material is truly hitting its stride, especially songs like “Happy, Happy” and “Wiser.”.  We are in full-on gigging, if that is even a word, mode at this time.  We are itching to play and will be added more dates soon.

Speaking of playing live, we do have a show coming up on November 12.  We will be playing Shoop’s, once again.  Looking at an 8 PM start time and will be playing until 10.  We hope we can see you all there.

Qiet, the most remarkable band in Huntington, played after us, followed by a comedian named Charlie Hanshaw (no links for him yet). Later, a minimalist [...]
